Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 25 July 2026
This policy defines what you may and may not do with the froxproxy network. It applies to every customer, and forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Permitted use
froxproxy provides proxy infrastructure for lawful, automated access to publicly available web data. Typical permitted uses include:
- Collecting publicly accessible data (web scraping and crawling)
- Price, catalogue and availability monitoring
- Search engine rank tracking and SERP analysis

- Market research and sentiment analysis
- Quality assurance, load testing and geo-testing of systems you own
- Managing accounts you own or are authorised to administer
2. Prohibited activities
You must not use the service for any of the following. This list is illustrative, not exhaustive.
Illegal activity
- Any activity that violates applicable law in your jurisdiction, ours, or the target's
- Accessing systems, accounts or data without authorisation
- Distributing or accessing child sexual abuse material — accounts are terminated immediately and reported to authorities
- Trafficking in stolen data, credentials or payment information
Fraud and abuse
- Credential stuffing, brute-force attacks or password cracking
- Payment fraud, carding, or testing stolen card numbers
- Creating accounts to defraud a platform or its users
- Click fraud, impression fraud or manipulating advertising metrics
- Identity theft or impersonating another person or organisation
Network abuse
- Denial-of-service attacks, or any traffic intended to degrade a target's availability
- Port scanning, vulnerability scanning or penetration testing of systems you do not own or have written authorisation to test
- Distributing malware, ransomware, spyware or exploit kits
- Operating botnets or command-and-control infrastructure
- Sending spam, bulk unsolicited messaging, or evading anti-spam systems
Harmful content and conduct
- Harassment, stalking, doxxing or threatening any person
- Infringing copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property rights
- Circumventing paywalls or DRM in violation of law or contract
- Collecting personal data in breach of GDPR, CCPA or other data-protection law
3. Responsible collection
Even where activity is lawful, we expect customers to behave responsibly: respect a target's stated terms where they apply to you, avoid request volumes that could degrade a service, and do not collect personal data without a lawful basis.
4. Reporting abuse
To report suspected misuse of our network, email support@froxproxy.com with the IP address, timestamps (with timezone) and a description of the activity. We investigate every report and aim to respond within one business day.
5. Enforcement
Where we find a breach, we may — depending on severity — issue a warning, suspend the affected service, terminate the account, or refer the matter to law enforcement. Serious breaches, particularly those causing harm to third parties, result in immediate termination without refund. We may preserve and disclose records where required by law or valid legal process.
6. Changes
We may update this policy as laws and abuse patterns change. Material changes will be notified by email or in the dashboard. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
